Cardiac Electrophysiology is the study and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. At Cardiovascular Associates Surgery and Electrophysiology (CASE), we are able to help patients by implanting pacemakers, defibrillators, implantable loop recorders, and other devices that treat and monitor heart failure.
Coronary Angiography is a procedure that provides images of the arteries that feed blood to the heart tissue. This procedure is most often done when there is concern about the blood flow to the heart - these concerns can arise from stress test findings, symptoms, and/or EKG abnormalities. A coronary intervention (such as use of stent) can be used to treat a blockage or narrowing in an artery in the heart.
Cardiovascular Associates Surgery and Electrophysiology (CASE) provides a wide range of peripheral vascular procedures for our patients. The most commonly performed procedures include restoring blood flow in the arteries in the legs, arms, or abdomen using state-of-the-art equipment and implanting or removing an IVC (inferior vena cava) filter.
